Served as an executive officer in the Royal Navy. Second in command of two vessels and command of a minesweeper. In charge of training ashore and afloat. Assisted in the refit of vessels acting as ship's manager and co-ordinator.
In 1981 and moved into a sales and marketing career. Initially in the building and construction industry; supplying insulation products and managing a distribution depot.
From 1985 worked in the marine industry, principally in sales and marketing, working for manufacturers of marine electronics. Gained extensive experience in national and international sales, sales management and technical support. Achieved substantial growth of sales.
From 2003 worked as a company Operations and Health and Safety Manager. Qualified as an ISO 9001 lead auditor. Registered with IRCA.
I have extensive experience in sales and marketing management both nationally and internationally. I also have experience in general management. I am energetic, self motivated and hard working with a strong sense of commitment and determination to achieve.
