Degree in Life Sciences (Westminster University, 1981: upper second class honours). Subsequent research: Microbial Genetics / Biotechnology (Westminster University: 1981 - 4). Teaching experience in both state and independent schools, roles have included Head of Science, Head of Sixth Form and Deputy Headteacher. Various articles written on the use of IT in education (including a series of monthly articles for the 'Format' magazines written over a period of two years), approaches to science teaching and student guides. I have designed various educational software programs (employers have included Europress Software and the BBC). I now wish to devote my time to writing and would feel equally at home with IT topics and training manuals, software manuals and articles on Science Education and related areas. Further interests include 20th Century History and the development of the cinema as an art form.
