Other interests
I enjoy swimming, listening to classical music, and playing classical music on the piano. I cycle and run regularly to keep fit. I am a Christian and am involved in a local church.
My technical strengths combined with my people skills gained at the Night Shelter are a very unusual and valuable combination. I have, in all my positions, demonstrated the ability to show diplomacy when speaking to customers, colleagues and superiors at work, and have a good aptitude for seeing the wider picture when looking at the needs of clients.
I gain satisfaction in empowering customers and colleagues in the use of ICT, moreso than the satisfaction of seeing the results of my own technical achievements. This returns again to my people-orientation. Being a team player is very important and I have good relationships at work.
I have demonstrated a thorough approach to my work, coupled with the ability to work methodically to meet tight deadlines. Throughout my career, I have constantly been able to find a timely and correct solutions to problems.
