Having gone into graphics later on in life I have an unwavering enthusiasm for design and find that I am inspired creatively on a daily basis by everything around me. From the experience I have had with my previous jobs/careers, I have gained a keen sense of responsibility and self discipline together with good time management and organisational skills. I use Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator for my work.

To date the design work I have done has been page layout/articles and adverts (full page/half page) for the 'More to Life' and 'Home from Home' magazines. As this work is generally part time and is on a freelance basis this leaves me more time to pursue my dream career as a freelance graphic designer.

Assisting with organisation of exhibitions, trips, interviews, enrolment. Pastoral care included one to one tutorial sessions. Reason for leaving, redundancy.

Reason for leaving, needed a change of direction in my working life - something creative, enrolled on a BTEC Graphics course which also enabled me to be at home during the school holidays for my two small children.
