The Role: New position formed to drive a successful and cohesive partnership across Europe and North America.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Implement the Executive’s decision across the ELA.
- Organise and prepare the Executive Committee meetings, annual meetings, logistics and finance (annual budget).
- Problem resolution across the ELA in the event of any dispute.
- Proactive business development co-ordinator (new referrals, working with Client Development Group, PR).
- Recruit and integrate new and affiliated members for the ELA.
- Work with member firms identifying potential business opportunities for cross-selling, regularly meeting all members.
Main achievements:
- Successful development and implementation of ELA’s strategy, co-ordinating 250 partners and 800 lawyers in a multi-jurisdictional and cross-cultural environment.
- Recruited four new member firms in Europe and Eastern Europe.
