Oracle - Joined and operated in support as Oracle positioned itself with new product offerings to provide varying levels of service. My role was to work with key accounts to ensure closure of issues and renewal of agreements. On an adhoc basis I became involved in critical accounts to facilitate activity and interface at a senior level in the operations of all parties. Such accounts included T Mobile/T Systems – Technology Dbase, Essex CC – HR & Payroll, T Mobile – Technology Dbase, HOF – Payroll, BP and Unilever support renewal. Typical business responsibility amounted to approx US$20M. As an additional responsibility it was important to protect the brand though customer satisfaction.

Portal - Customer Care and Billing
Assigned to re-structure Asia and EMEA Southern region, pending arrival of new CEO for Asia Pac, CEO started May 03. Moved to UK May 1st to improve the quarter sales in the Southern region and build on success in key corporate accounts, namely Orange France, Slovakia and Romania and Vodafone Spain, Portugal, Vodafone Omnitel Italy. Worked with J-Phone (Japan), Vodafone (Spain, Italy & Portugal).

Assignment - Amdocs - global Vodafone Account Manager – worked with Amdocs to set up its Asia Strategy. Successfully introduced Amdocs into Indonesia, presented, proposed and negotiated US$22M contract into a key mobile operator. Convergent billing pre- & post-paid. Assisted Excelcomindo, the mobile operator to re-orientate business to care for the economic re-emergence of Asia and Indonesia. Amdocs had no success in Asia prior to my assignment.

Left after achieving considerable success by establishing Amdocs in Asia. My personal circumstances changed and I needed to re-base in Europe due to children’s schooling.

Management – Re-focus EHPT’s Regional Head Office and fold into Ericsson’s Professional services group DGS – Kuala Lumpur.

Achievements: Debt equivalent to 5 years revenue reduced (collected) by 80%. Increased revenue by 1200% (12 fold increase). Q1 ’01 over-achieved Net Sales plan by 190% - brought company to profit.

Structured company to position and sell Product along with Services. Introduced a new organisation and started project, sales and sales support hiring plan. Worked with Ericsson to transfer operation into Ericsson DGS group end of Q1, ’01.

Built a quality structure to bring all external projects to a successful conclusion namely CAT Thailand (100% debt reduction). Closed business in New Zealand – Vodafone and Clear. Indonesia – PT. Natrindo. Established a channel concept and introduced key channel partners such as Logica, Online (Philippines), Tata (India), HP, whilst developing Ericsson etc.

Left due to Ericsson/HP corporate ending their relationship with EHPT, folding into Ericsson DGS.

LHS Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd HQ in Kuala Lumpur with responsibility for offices in Hong Kong (Ltd) , Australia (Branch Office), Taiwan (Branch Office) and India (Ltd). Total Turnover of LHS Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd projected US$45M. (year 2000)

• Responsible for business strategy, market positioning, market awareness, growth of revenue and profitability, market share through organic growth and acquisition, delivery of LHS solution, local development and, of course, associated debt management, DSO.
• Built a strong Project, Sales and Delivery Operation in LHS Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd from 0 – 250 high-calibre, project, technical development, admin support and sales and sales support teams.
• Opened offices in Malaysia (Sdn Bhd), Hong Kong (Ltd), India (Ltd), Taiwan (Branch Office), Australia (Branch Office) and Indonesia.
• Achieved good (50%) growth through the years with (36%) in 1999.
