I have worked in the IT industry for twelve years and have been a trainer for nine years. I started freelancing in 2000. I work with The London Borough of Lambeth and a variety of other clients including BP, PWC and Anderson Consulting.

Career Profile 1995 -2007.
I have been working in the IT industry for a continuous twelve years. My roles have all ways been client facing. These have included public relations; administrating blue chip IT accounts (Hitachi, Digital, Fujitsu and Business Objects) and communicating with the press. Recruitment; selling and placing candidates in appropriate jobs. After the first three years in IT I began to realise that I belonged in training and personal development and won my first role as a junior trainer for SkillSet in 1998.
My first training assignments at SkillSet were at The London Borough of Lambeth and BP. I was achieving excellent results and evaluations so was asked to start designing and delivering my own courses in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and a specialist data querying program 'Business Objects'. This included writing relevant training materials and travelling throughout Europe to deliver my courses for BP, PWC and Anderson Consulting working my way up to become Senior Trainer.
I became a Freelance Training Consultant towards the end of 2000 for more control and freedom in my career. I became a certified MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) Master Instructor and continued my IT training work with Lambeth and I now proudly run 9 courses for the PDC on a monthly basis. This involves delivering classroom training to all levels. I also deliver one-to-one training sessions and have been commissioned to work on specific IT projects for departments including the Children's and Young People's Services. This particular project involved assessing, training and supporting 30 Social Workers with a variety of IT skills to develop their confidence and knowledge with IT. This has now been achieved. I have now been asked to work on further projects. I enjoy and work with a variety of other clients and agencies.
