• Part time computing lecturer at the Lews Castle College an UHI.
• Work with local business Reefnet as a contractor, supporting the development of various websites including www.leumadair.co.uk, www.mactv.co.uk, and www.gms.org.uk using CVS to manage the work with multiple developers.

• Team member in the development, and original designer of a PHP based web application used to administer
users and initiate automated communications to a communications platform called AlarmPoint.
• TCP/IP development specialising in client-server, client-client communications. This includes using low level
memory streaming of files and data between multiple locations.
• Database driven applications, synchronisation, and data sharing between MySQL, SQL Server, Access, and Paradox database formats.
• Administration of a workgroup based office network machines and hardware. This included backup
automation, machine restart automation, and workgroup IP administration.

My role Varied throughout my employment from network management to software design analysis, programming, graphic design and data management. I still work for Criticall frelance managing their customer data integration and reporting development. I am also the sole developer for a complete rebuild of the CEAS AlertNet project using https.
Professional Qualifications
In 1999 I graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Software Development. This was a two year course with the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI).
After a further year, I graduated in August 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree (BSC) in Computing.
