Part of a national project team established to review all current business processes, and tailor them to enable the company to meet it's objectives in the new millennium, and making sure that all systems were Year 200 compliant (Y2K).
• Direct responsibility for delivering and implementing the new systems in 160 contracts spread across the south of England
• Training 250 managers in new skills and business processes
• Reviewed and updated both manual and automated processes throughout the business
• Trained and supported a management team of 40 in adopting a new core system , SAP (R3), to manage central functions (Trading, Labour & HR)

Responsible for the management of a commercial catering, retail, vending and hospitality contract for GKN Westland in Yeovil, a busy location with 5000 customers on site.

Responsible for winning the public and staff catering concession at Belfast International Airport, and took responsibility for the mobilisation and development of this business. As Northern Ireland was a new market for Sutcliffe, I took responsibility for developing other opportunities, and built the business up to 10 contracts across the province, with clients such as Michelin, Shorts, Mercury, Gallagher, Northern Ireland Electricity and the Child Support Agency

Responsibility for the management of an evolving group of restaurants across Heathrow, London and the south of England, catering for such clients as BAA, Legal & General Assurance and Hoverspeed.

Responsible for the management of a group of 9 restaurants spread throughout London and the Home Counties, catering for clients such as the BBC, Mirror Group Newspapers and the London Air Traffic Control Centre at West Drayton.

Management of a busy restaurant at Heathrow's Terminal 3, with annual turnover in excess of £2M pa, and a staff establishment of 50.

Deputy Manager in this busy restaurant, feeding staff based at Heathrow's Terminals 1 and 2, with a turnover of £3M pa, and a staff establishment of 60.
