CV
My aim is simple: to make your business work better. I'll help your company run more efficiently, more effectively, more profitably.
The practical aspect is all about delivering change and achieving progress. We won’t just make a recommendation and hope for the best. We won’t just write you a report then run for cover! We deliver real value to your systems and processes by working in partnership with you; to ensure you fully complete the step changes necessary to reach your target.
In 25 years of hands-on management and consulting, we have helped bring real and positive change to a wide range of businesses, from start-ups to major high-tech multinationals. Most of our current clients are small to medium sized companies (SMEs) in London and the East Anglia region.
We will only work with business owners who can see real value in our proposal. If we believe you’ll get more relevant support from another source, we’ll introduce you to them. That’s why we won’t offer you an off-the-shelf solution: all our projects are tailored specifically to the business needs of each client.

Project Manager
Agilent/Hewlett-Packard Ltd.Project Manager (using PRINCE2 and HP's own methodology) within the Defence Projects Group of Hewlett-Packard Consulting. The overall project had a multi-million scope to fit an IT infrastructure providing ‘office’ applications.
My role, involved rebuilding relationships with the customer, prioritising issues and deliverables, and then completing the tasks to defined standards.
Key achievements were:
* To develop new procedures for the approval of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment for the official programme, with substantially shortened lead times and costs.
* Establish mutually beneficial business relationships between the two project teams.
* To formulate, document, and deliver the project quality plan.
* Masterminded the reliability trials that enabled the system to gain approval, which had been delayed by three years.
* Management of primary external supplier.
As a result of these actions significant improvements in programme deliverables were achieved, and relationships re-established on a professional and business basis.
HP’s European Support-Marketing
The role involved:
* To investigate the feasibility of providing local country support for specific products
* To develop a standard set of communication tools for standardised European support measures
* To ensure performance delivery on a new contract with Racal, who had decided to outsource their support activities to HP
Developed a feasibility study for local country support, which introduced new concepts for local suppliers to deliver support for HP products.
Developed new harmonised processes for pan-European support, and innovative ways of displaying this visually, to assist uptake and conformance, to HP’s competitive advantage.
Managed the support delivery strategy for a major communications equipment provider. This required extensive diplomatic negotiations regarding the contract as many of the customer's managers' jobs were at risk. The contract was given a high priority as it was part of a much wider commercial relationship with the customer and it had to be delivered to demanding standards due to its visibility at board level.
