| I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University.My industrial experience includes production engineering appointments in the UK and mainland Europe, and I was managing director of a number of manufacturing businesses. I have 30 years' consulting experience, originally with a large international consultancy and then in 1988 as a founding partner of a small managament consultancy based in the UK. I have specialised in the development of methods for Activity Based Management and Business Process Management, and have applied these successfully in the financial services, research, education, communications, energy, transport, retail, manufacturing and food industries. I am a Chartered Engineer, and a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a Chartered Management Consultant and a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting. I am the author of High Value, Low Cost, published by Pearson Education and Activity Based Management published by Gower. I am also a regular speaker for professional bodies as well as at conferences around the world |
