After graduating with a degree in Classics, I worked for many years in the computer industry in jobs ranging from programmer through technical/proposal writer to project manager. In mid-career I moved to Australia to work as a project manager for a major computer manufacturer. I subsequently founded a successful family company selling barcode scanners. About 15 years ago I began working as a freelanvce proofreader/copywriter while publishing a novel and a play.
