(2001 & ongoing)

• Set up the company to develop and produce a special training CD ROM for newcomers to triathlon in official association with the British Triathlon Association (BTA)
• The CD was funded by a directory with all entries and adverts sold by me – value £40,000.
• BTA members’ magazine
o On success of the CD ROM BTA invited my company to tender sell advertising space and develop their members’ magazine Trinews.
o Revenues were increased by 600% in 18 months and the magazine developed into a highly acclaimed magazine from what was previously a newsletter.


• Two more film based CD ROMs were commissioned by Government departments: Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) value £60,000 and subsequently the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) – Value of contract £40,000. These productions received an accolade by the incumbent Housing Minister Keith Hill during their launch
• “Wellness” magazine
o A contract was secured with Greenwich Leisure Ltd to develop and produce their magazine for delivery to 50,000 gym members throughout London.


(1997 to 2001)

Selling advertising space on a freelance basis in B2B and consumer publications, perimeter advertising, TV programmes on a contract basis for various companies including, The British Ski Federation, Eurosport, Silverstone for the British Grand Prix, Brands hatch ITN/Euronews, CCL (A division of Euromoney). I also created and produced specialist CD ROMS containing film footage to accompany publications in the Cruise industry in conjunction with Euromoney PLC.

I worked exclusively for Reddy Management Ltd selling advertising space in Defence Procurement Analysis publication. I increased their sales considerably before the publication was sold to Highbury House.

Headhunted to work as Sales Manager to develop TUA (Telecommunications Users’ Association) Official Reference Book. My sales team took the publication to new all-time target of £275,000 within two months of starting and continued to increase sales year on year to a record high of £295,000. Went on to develop publications in conjunction with major organisations such as the FDA and the BIO Industry Association.

Regular competitor in triathlon. I am also a competitive mountain biker racing in off-road triathlons and duathlons. I also enjoy skiing and table tennis.
