As a freelancer for this marketing agency specialising in the ICT sector, Richard writes for a variety of high profile accounts including THUS (brochures and DM for Voice, Data and Managed Services offerings), Cisco (internal communications and sales support tools), HP (DM and podcasts) and Dell (launch materials for Presto, Dell’s PC support service).

His work also covers online writing for web articles, electronic and printed DM, scripts for promotional videos, press advertising, and various brochures and event-support materials.

Alongside his work for Wilson Miller, Richard continues to write for a variety of clients (some within ICT, others not) on numerous communication projects:

Freelancing in Brussels, Richard worked for a variety of agencies - including O&M, TBWA and Saatchi & Saatchi in Brussels - and directly with clients such as Pioneer, IBM and Genesys.

His texts appeared in web copy for various clients (e.g. www.salix.biz), direct mail (e.g. Royal Institute of British Architects) and newsletters (e.g. ExxonMobil).

Richard wrote the original copy for all of Sony's VAIO PC pre- and post-launch activities across Europe.

He also managed a team of external copywriters and the design agencies, translators and print houses working on the project. Richard ensured that the copy met Sony’s guidelines and that ITE delivered all communications materials to Europe on time and to budget.

Richard reported directly to the CEO and worked with the divisional MDs responsible for a variety of vertical markets. These included Telecommunications, Travel, Manufacturing, and Finance.

Richard’s task was to create corporate campaigns embracing all aspects of the organisation, and to deliver sector-specific communications for each division.
