My current role involves supporting an EMEA wide EDI messaging service, provided by IBM.
The Role involves being part of a specialist Team. We are responsible for resolving the more serious application issues and for managing any subsequent changes to the IT infrastructure. This includes diagnosing customer and system problems and applying corrective maintenance where necessary.


1998 – 1999 IBM 24 x 7 Level 2 Helpdesk Analyst

Responsible for the resolution of problems reported by IBM customers, covering PC, UNIX and Mainframe platforms. The key aspects of this role were investigating and resolving problems to set Service Level Agreements. Escalating problems to Internal IBM support groups where relevant and training and mentoring of colleagues during Helpdesk Transition Project.
