I have had many different careers, which means that I am able to write on many subjects. Starting as an actress, I later became a secretary working in publishing, solicitors' offices and in education. After receiving a First with the Open University I started working as a lecturer for special needs, and have also taught short courses on creative writing, career development and personal growth. I have written Careers Workbooks for unemployed students and Communications Workbooks for the NHS. My most recent contract was to create NVQ workbooks for Waste Management trainees. I have also written numerous articles and website content, including some work for Expedia.com.

As well as teaching, I spent much time writing and preparing workbooks for students, including careers advice and basic skills. I started as a Learning Support Assistant and developed my role to become a full-time lecturer for special needs students, and also delivered Key Skills classes to mainstream students. Taught infill students career development, and also was the Course Manager for some outreach courses, as well as creating and teaching most of these courses.

I have writen two e-books, one entitled 'How to Find Your Dream Career' and the other 'Beginner's Guide to Family History'. I have written three novels, for which I am seeking publication, and am working on a fourth.
