Mac:
• Can use Photoshop for digital manipulation to photos and other imagery or to create interesting effects to add to type or images.
• Can use Illustrator to create interesting vector illustrations, using brushes and other tools to add effects to type and imagery.
• Can use InDesign to create useful and imaginative layouts for books, magazines, leaflets or any other literature using type and images.
• Can use Acrobat Reader when sending designs to print for accurate results.
• Can use Quark Express to achieve stunning layouts for books, magazines and other literature.
• Can use Internet for research when a particular style or theme is required in a brief along with other sources such as magazines, books and my own drawings.
• Can use Dreamweaver and Flash to create interesting and versatile websites.

PC:
• Can use Word for administration and other word processing tasks.
• Can use Excel to budget, create profit and loss spreadsheets and other financial tasks.
• Can use PowerPoint to create interesting and informative presentations.
• Can use FrontPage in a similar way to Dreamweaver when creating websites.
• Can use Outlook to organise emails and keep up to date with tasks.
• Can use Access to create databases with easy to use front-end user forms.
• Can use Internet for research when creating reports and sourcing images and type.

Other skills:
• Drawing of ‘scamps’ for generation of ideas and to visualise concepts.
• Layout of interesting grids for use in imaginative layouts.
