Responsible for planning and delivering communications programme for flagship corporate responsibility partnership. Activities include: writing press releases, external agency liaison, stakeholder management, events management, creation and design of communications media, copywriting, management of programme intranet, creation and implementation of communications governance processes, budget management and development of programme brand.

Working in operational strategy function of large contact centre, managed internal communications for corporate change programme, updating intranet, providing updates to stakeholders, creating employee newsletters and internal announcements, commissioning storyboards etc. Developed online knowledge management site, worked on strategy development and creation of proposals and project-managed implementation of company-wide IT system.

As a graduate on the United Utilities Graduate Trainee scheme, I worked in a number of roles including Marketing co-ordinator at subsidiary telco – duties included preparation of sales material, external supplier liaison to design new customer microsite and animated e-cards, event management, intranet development, creation of marketing materials and research into new markets.

Responsible for creating marketing materials to promote the organisation, such as leaflets, promotional articles, brochures, flyers, posters, internet copy etc. Additionally wrote the pitch and content for a documentary on international conflict with Granada Television.
