| I have been fortunate enough to gain extensive experience as a Civil Engineer in the Major Projects sector primarily in a managerial role. I have covered a wide range of disciplines within the industry including. In recent years I have been dedicated to the overseeing of operations, sub-contract management and Budget control. As my managerial role has grown I have moved into the planning and cost control aspects of construction. This involved working closely with others from an early stage, to foresee problems and thus react accordingly. I have now set up my own Consultancy Company and have been working with Network Rail on the completion of the CTRL project. |

Consultant Civil Engineer
Kent / LondonThe main role is to assist Network Rail (CTRL) with Section 2 mobilisation – namely the take over of the civils assets of 28 Km Section 2 of CTRL. Overseeing the Completion of the hand over from project manager to client and client to Network Rail with a view of ensuring all documentation is in place and the works fit for purpose.

Kent/ Essex/ LondonConstruct and run three railheads for CTRL High-speed track installation in Kent and Essex. Managing all aspects of the build and operation of train loading at the railhead. Leasing with the Client and other contractors on the take over of work sites thought out the 28 Km, section 2 of CTRL from Kent into London.

Dealing with all issues with the construction and cost control of the structures as well as the letting of sub-contracts and management for the site teams on the three sites on this Bachy / Skanska / Costain Joint Venture.

Skanska UK Engineering, East LondonMy duties involved all aspects box construction, Diaphragm Wall piling, Capping beams, Permeate RC Props, Temporary 1.5m steel props, the base slab construction, box excavation, and the TBM Lunch pits within the portal area, reviewing Methods and the QA of the project with the contract management. With the long term programming and budgeting of £32M for the works and managing a team of Engineers and Foreman with a workforce of over sixty Operatives. This position also included community relations and conducting site visits and presentation to interested parties.
