I am a Freelance Graphic Designer based in Oxfordshire, working either on-site or from my home-based Mac studio, as required. I have worked for a variety of clients since 1997 and have recently returned to freelancing fulltime. My rates are negotiable, dependent on length of contract and travelling costs involved. My clients to date have included Ogilvy Advertising, M4 Design, (CD and music media), Digital Media Communications Ltd. (new media), Marmalade (graphic design), Ragamuffin Bridalwear and the Forest of Dean District Council.

I designed and produced a market-leading monthly magazine which involved maintaining consistency and stylistic development, features design, page layout, illustration, mastheads and corporate ID, as well as liaising with printers and external contributors to the magazine.

I was responsible for the production of a twice-daily newspaper, designing publicity material, promotional boosts, masthead design, page layout, logo design and illustration, requiring accuracy and a fast turnaround.

I freelanced for IT Marketing Communications and Advertising Agencies.
During this time, some of my illustrations were selected for exhibition by Adobe for the Adobe Illustrator Team Summer Exhibition 2003 and exhibited at Adobe’s headquarters in San Jose, California.

Banner is a marcoms agency specialising in the IT sector. I was responsible for producing advertising, direct mail, packaging, corporate ID, brochures and illustrations. I also designed all the collateral and graphics for Comdex, a major IT exhibition at Earls Court.

Accounts: Ford, American Express, Lever Brothers, Seagrams, Eagle Star, Woolwich, Argos, Guinness and the NHS. I was involved in setting up the Mac department and was responsible for typography,design, illustration, artwork and some tuition. I also created a number of typefaces for use on the Mac, including Ogilvy’s corporate font.
