Deployed a production data reporting solution to 450 senior users across multiple UK locations within the agreed but aggressive three-month timescale.

Rolled out a £1m mid-size data warehouse within budget whilst managing on-time delivery from a supplier who had not previously delivered a database dealing with this type of information.

Reduced training costs by £40k with a training strategy recommendation to use a specialist training company instead of the software supplier.

Recruited a team of 20 persons to ensure that all aspects of the project would be delivered despite a very aggressive implementation.

Facilitated production lifecycle visibility for every house build in the UK as well as valuable decision-making information by delivering a £3m critical business system to 26 regional businesses.

Deployed the solution successfully and was subsequently recognised as the keynote speaker at the software provider's national user forum attended by 400 people.

An international supplier of software and data warehousing to the pharmaceutical clinical trials industry with a customer base drawn from over 50 of the world's leading pharmaceutical, chemical and contract research organisations. Reporting to the Vice President for Global Solutions, responsibilities included transforming a major technology and functionality refresh of core product modules encompassing 18 component projects over a period of 21 months via 70 people at two locations in the UK, one in Belgium and one in the USA. Also facilitated a joint programme to provide a data warehouse solution to a world-leading pharmaceutical consisting of nine projects. Managed teams across multiple locations and time zones.

Major Achievements:

Improved project efficiency and transparency by deploying PRINCE2 project management practices within project teams in Europe and the USA and mentoring other project managers as needed.

Delivered nine global Safety Assessment Data Warehousing components including eight data marts for individual systems and a central data warehouse in conjunction with GlaxoSmithKline.

Negotiated the turnaround of a failing project at Eli Lilly by proposing a revised delivery schedule with key reportable milestones and an open communication policy encompassing project issues and testing progress.
