I’m a self-employed Management Consultant, a partner in VMG Associates, a marketing company for management development consultants and an NHS Trust Non Executive Director. I work with clients in both the public and private sectors to design and deliver HR projects and training programmes. Recent clients have included Centrex the Central Police Training Development Authority, Skillfast-UK the Skills Council for the textile industry and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). My particular areas of expertise are the design and delivery of development solutions for Leaders and Managers, HR Change Projects, Managing Change, Developing Teams and Accredited Learning Programmes for Managers. I’m on the approved list of trainers for the Manchester Business School.
Prior to my current roles I worked for H M Revenue and Customs with responsibility for project managing the implementation of HR development solutions and designing and delivering training solutions for First Line, Middle and Senior Managers.
I also support various sectors of my local community on a voluntary basis: running mock interviews for students of a local school applying for university places; providing computer administration support for a local Credit Union branch; Teaching computer skills to members of the local community
