I have been responsible for the conception and development of Futurestate, a vehicle for the promotion and delivery of a wide range of IT consultancy services. By leveraging my 20 years of experience in the IT Service Management arena I have been able to develop a number of services which deliver fast results to organisations who need help with managing their IT teams and partners.

Recent consultancy assignments have included the development of ISO 20000 compliant IT Service Management processes and procedures for one of Scotland’s most successful law firms. I have worked directly with Chief Executive and IT Director to re-energise the IT Team and their external partners resulting in increased productivity and improvements in the delivery of internal software development projects.

I have also been involved in the assessment and selection of a disaster recovery strategy on behalf of a major commercial property management business. This project included identification of business requirements and their translation in to formal Prince 2 project documentation.

Futurestate has also been chosen to act as the European reseller of EasyCMDB. In this capacity I have been involved in the development of opportunities in the UK, Ireland and Portugal, including formal sales presentations, proposal production and securing the first sale of EasyCMDB in Ireland.

I have recently invested in a web based referral management business. I have been heavily involved in the preparation of the business plan, financial forecasting and marketing strategies for this business which highlights my passion for entrepreneurial projects.
