I have worked for a local authority for 26 years. From 1979-1989 I worked primarily in the Housing Benefits section of a housing office. I then moved onto a housing management roll in 1990. In 1991 From 1991 to 1997 I worked in a homeless unit.In 1997 a secondment opportunity arose on a project working towards replacing the corporate mainframe systems. Initially I worked on the replacement housing management system, and then moved onto the replacement for repairs and maintenance. I moved to a busy ICT department in an Application support/development roll, where I supported corporate applications which included Tranman, Uniform/GIS, Contractorplus and Symology. I have experience in using most Microsoft Office applications and also in Lotus notes. I have prepared training documentation and facilitated on training courses in the above applications. I am currently working from home as I am a full time foster carer.
