Responsible for Web Hosting sites infrastructure and facilities contracts and purchase orders for sites in process of construction in London, Paris and Frankfurt.

Responsible for contracts for the GTS Group across Europe including S&GA cost reduction exercises and the design and implementation of processes and procedures to protect the business ethically, commercially and financially.

Procurement of equipment, projects and services for a roll-out programme in Paris and Berlin.

Attended Mandarin Language College as self sponsored (and self funded) student for modular course to learn some Mandarin Chinese language.

Procurement consultant for start-up telecommunications company

Responsible for planning and implementation of facilities for start-up telecommunications project for New South Wales Government.

Responsible for planning and implementation of procurement processes, procedures and operations for major new telecommunications project for New South Wales Government including recruitment and training of local staff to form a Procurement Department.

Responsible for special projects e.g rationalisation of specialist development and research sites to reduce costs and reduce duplication.

Responsible for planning, implementation and development of a new procurement division with staff of 90 and budget of £700 miliion. The unit responsibilities included:
Procurement of non-engineering stores
Implementation of corporate agreements for various current account (non-capital) expenditure areas for BT Group
Outsourcing of identified service requirements.
This unit was successfully established, operated within tight commercial control (an operational budget of £5m p.a.) and generated real savings of £55m in 1990 and £42m savings in 1991.
