Consultancies and contracting companies are welcome to use the people4 websites to market the services of their consultants and contractors.

Access new markets

By registering with any of the people4 sites – including people4business, people4engineering, people4charity and people4web2 – your company benefits from access to businesses throughout the UK looking for skilled professionals.

Your consultants on people4

Your consultants and contractors can register as individual Sellers on any of the people4 sites. You simply need to provide them with your company and bank details.

You can also register on their behalf by filling out all the appropriate details, although you need to ensure that they also agree with the terms and conditions of people4business Limited.

Setting your consultants’ rates

All Sellers’ rates are published on all the people4 sites: the published rate includes our management fee.

This management fee is substantially lower than standard agency margins, so we’re confident that all our Sellers’ rates are still very competitive.

You can flex the rates you set for your Sellers at any time – to take advantage of a buoyant market, or to gain more business in a slow one.

Payments

Payments for your consultants’ contracts through people4 will be made direct to your consultancy. We deal with all your Sellers’ invoicing and credit control.

Our usual business practice will be to pay Sellers 30 calendar days after the invoice to the Buyer is raised. The invoice is raised either upon completion of the contract or, for those contracts lasting for longer than one month, on a monthly basis.

Fasterpay

If you want quicker payment, you can choose our Fasterpay option. For an additional charge of just 3% of your total payment, we can bring payment forward to within 5 working days after the invoice has been raised.

You select Fasterpay at the point when you are agreeing to the contract.

This means that you select Fasterpay on a per-contract basis, rather than for each transaction. For contracts lasting longer than one month, for example, you could select Fasterpay for all your monthly payments – or for none of them.

Please note: 5 working days refers to the time we pay the invoice, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your payment within 5 working days, due to bank processing times.

Flexibility

Registering your consultants as Sellers on people4 gives you added flexibility. You have access to new markets when your consultants are less busy. And when you are really stretched, you can use the people4 sites to buy in some new talent for a contract.

The small print

When your consultants enter into a contract through people4business Limited, you and they agree with our terms and conditions, which include the undertaking that any subsequent contract with that Buyer will be invoiced through people4business Limited invoices and timesheets.
