Discounted rates for charities
Professionals registered as Sellers on people4business and people4charity have experience in a wide range of industries, as well as in the public and not-for-profit sectors. They are now able to select a charity discount, which is a percentage reduction on their usual hourly rates. Many of our Sellers offer very generous discounts to charities.

We’ve now simplified your searches to a straightforward four-step process.
Describe assignment
First, fill out brief details of the assignment (the project, task or job of work) you need a Seller for.
Search for Sellers
Browse through our skills categories to find Sellers with the skills you need.
You can sort Sellers by hourly rate, location or availability.
Your shortlist
Add a Seller to your shortlist – or remove them – by checking the box to the right of their listing.
You can add a maximum of five Sellers to your final shortlist.
Click ‘Confirm final shortlist’ to access their contact details.
Contact Sellers
You must now contact your shortlisted Sellers.
We send them the assignment details, but they do not have your contact details.
Award contract
When you have chosen your Seller, you fill out the final assignment details:
• the duration of the contract;
• the invoice and timesheet frequency;
• the final hourly rate you agreed with your Seller; and
• whether or not the Seller can claim overtime and expenses.
Once you have agreed to the contract, your Seller agrees to the contract for services and the assignment can begin!
people4charity job board
Details of assignments you’ve not yet found Sellers for may be posted on the job board.
Sellers can then ‘apply’ for the assignment by writing you a brief message. We send this on to you, along with a link to their skills and CV information.
You can then contact those Sellers you are interested in.

When you are negotiating terms with your Seller and agreeing final contract details, you can select your own timesheet and invoicing frequency (from one, two or four-week cycles) to match your own business systems.

As a registered Buyer you can fill all your contracting, consulting or freelancing needs through people4charity.
You’ll find details of all your searches, assignments and contracts listed on your homepage. You'll also find the contact details of your shortlisted Sellers, and the tools to make your final choice of Seller and generate a contract.
With people4charity, it’s easy to manage multiple contracts across any of the skillsets your charity needs.
Give and receive ratings
With our ratings system you will be able to choose from those Sellers who have been given top feedback from other Buyers.
