About people4 ratings
Both Buyers and Sellers can give and receive ratings. All ratings you receive are averaged to make your overall people4 rating.
Sellers’ ID numbers and overall people4 ratings are published on the website. As a Buyer, your ratings are seen only by registered Sellers when you shortlist them for a contract.
Star system
As a Buyer, you give and receive people4 ratings using our star system.

Leaving ratings
When to leave a rating
As a Buyer you are able to leave ratings for a Seller after you have paid the invoice for that Seller’s work. Once you have left your rating, the Seller can leave a rating for you.
Ratings are triggered on a per-invoice basis. This means that for contracts lasting longer than one month, both Buyer and Seller are able to leave people4 ratings for each month – or invoice period – of the contract.
This ensures that Sellers on long contracts don’t end up with fewer opportunities to receive ratings.
Making comments
As well as leaving your rating, you can also make brief comments.
Comments should be factual and contain appropriate language. All comments will be monitored before being published to the site.
Your word is final
Consider carefully before you leave a rating as it cannot be edited.
But, if you change your mind about a rating or a comment you have left – or if you want to object to a rating or comment you have received – please contact us:

Your Ratings
Your people4 homepage displays your overall people4 rating. All your ratings – both those you’ve left for Sellers and those you’ve received from them – are shown on your My Ratings page.
On this page you will be able to leave ratings for your contracted Sellers and you’ll see when you’ve received a rating from them.
